Standard Physical Science Course Overview:

Physical Science is an introduction to basic chemistry and physics. This course explores the relationship between matter and energy. Student’s expectations are to learn Physical Science through the process of inquiry. Hands-on laboratory investigations, individual studies, and group activities will constitute a major portion of the learning experience.  Using available technology, students will investigate motion, forces, and the properties of interactions between energy and matter. Physical Science provides the knowledge and develops the skills needed for problem solving. As members of society students will learn ethical decision-making relevant to matters of scientific and technological concern. Students will take the Williamson County CCA (County Comprehensive Assessment) test as part of their final exam.
